Terms of Service
Last updated 12 August 2026 · Applies to the Femlura mobile app and this website.
Femlura is a cosmetic tool, not a medical one.
It describes the visible appearance of skin. It does not diagnose, it does not name conditions, it does not prescribe, and it is not a substitute for a qualified dermatologist or any other healthcare professional. Never delay seeking medical advice because of something this app showed you.

The agreement
These terms are between you and Abdelrahman Masoud (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Femlura. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of this agreement.
What Femlura is
Femlura analyses a photograph of your face and returns a description of the visible appearance of your skin — a set of cosmetic scores and written observations — together with a suggested morning and evening skincare routine and the kinds of ingredients worth looking for.
The analysis is produced by an automated system. It is an estimate of appearance in one photograph, and it can be affected by lighting, focus, camera angle and image quality. Two photographs taken minutes apart can produce different scores. Treat the output as informational guidance, not measurement.
Femlura does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If the app suggests that something may be worth showing to a professional, that is a prompt to seek advice — it is not itself an assessment of what the thing is.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use Femlura only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
Femlura creates an anonymous account for you on first launch so you can use it without giving us an email address. You may optionally add an email address to keep your history if you change devices. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure, and for activity that happens under it.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features require a paid subscription. The price, the billing period, and any introductory or trial offer are shown to you in the app and in the App Store before you confirm the purchase — those displayed terms are the ones that apply, and they may differ by country and change over time. We do not state prices on this page, so that nothing here can contradict what the store actually charges you.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the rate then shown.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms, not by us.
- If an introductory or free period is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription that supersedes it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photographs of anyone who has not agreed to it.
- Use the app to make medical claims about yourself or anyone else.
- Attempt to extract, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the analysis or the underlying models.
- Interfere with the service, work around usage limits, or access another person's account.
- Use the app unlawfully, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
We apply a daily limit on analyses per account so that automated use cannot run up unbounded costs.
Your content
Your photographs remain yours. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the service: to transmit the image to our analysis provider, have it analysed, and return the result to you. As set out in the Privacy Policy, the image is discarded after that analysis and is not stored on our servers. We do not use your photographs to train models and we do not publish them anywhere.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload any photograph you submit.
Our content
The app, this website, the Femlura name and its design are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them only as the app allows. The routine text generated for you is yours to use for your own purposes.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Femlura after a change means you accept the updated terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Femlura is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the analysis is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that use of the suggested routine will produce any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Femlura. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using Femlura at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we are required to by law. Deleting your account removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy; it does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through Apple, which you must cancel in your Apple ID settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo, Egypt have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
